Where vision becomes story. A sustainable creative campus — built from recycled steel, powered by the sun, created for the community. The flagship program of the Steelhorn Foundation.
We don't build soundstages. We build the conditions for great work.
Steelhorn Forge Studios is a vision for what a modern entertainment studio should be — not a renovated warehouse, not a distant outpost, but a purpose-built ecosystem designed from first principles for the way films, series, and stories are actually made today.
Every soundstage, every suite, every shop, every square foot — engineered for the entire arc of storytelling. From the first writer's room conversation to the final color grade. Powered by the sun above it, built from steel that has lived a previous life. The friction — and the footprint — eliminated by design.
We are building a destination. A place creators choose because nowhere else lets them work this well, this fast, with this much craft. A place that earns its name.
A Tour of the Campus.
Six spaces. Six purposes. One unified philosophy: build it sustainably, build it for the work, and build it for the community around it.
Built to Create. Built to Inspire.
A two-story glass-and-steel headquarters housing leadership, operations, finance, partnerships, and community relations — fronted by an all-electric fleet and EV charging. The first thing a creator, an executive, or a partner sees on arrival.
A First Impression That Earns the Pitch.
A two-story atrium of polished concrete, brushed steel, and warm light — the reception wall, the mission board, the gathering spaces. The first thing a creator or partner sees when they arrive, and the last thing they remember when they leave.
Clear-Span. Sustainable. Built to Create.
Clear-span, purpose-built stages with full blackout, elephant doors, integrated water tanks, and acoustical performance rated for 24-bit dialogue capture — under a solar-integrated roof of recycled steel.
Clean Water. Closed Loop.
A working backlot uses water — for effects, for tanks, for the day-to-day of production. At Steelhorn Forge, that water never leaves the loop. An on-site facility collects, filters, purifies, stores, and returns it to production.
Where the Final 10% Becomes the First Thing You Notice.
Dolby-grade mixing stages. HDR color grading suites. ADR and Foley with isolation booths. Editorial bays with 10-gigabit fiber. Dedicated podcast and content studios. Every surface tuned to industry-leading standards — so the work you finish here is the work that ships.
Clean Energy. Community Space.
The campus's central public space — a solar canopy stretching across the parking field and pedestrian plaza, with EV charging and an outdoor amphitheater for community screenings. Open to the public year-round.
End‑to‑End, Under One Roof.
From first sketch to final delivery — without a single asset, a single artist, or a single hour leaving campus.
Production
Clear-span, purpose-built soundstages, standing-set backlots, water tanks, and full mill and paint shops — sustainable steel, built to create.
Post-Production
Dolby-grade mix theaters, HDR color grading suites, ADR and Foley stages, editorial bays, and dedicated podcast and content studios tuned to industry-leading standards.
Sustainability
On-site solar generation, recycled-steel construction, an all-electric fleet, and closed-loop water reclamation. Net-positive operation by design.
Podcast & Content
Dedicated podcast and content studios for creators to tell their story and share their voice — production-ready from day one.
Veterans Programs
A storytelling center built for service members and military families — documentary, narrative, podcast, and oral history production, at no cost to participants.
Talent & Training
A workforce pipeline in partnership with regional technical colleges and trade institutions — building the crew base of the next twenty years, locally.
One Campus. One Designed Whole.
Every building considered. Every flow studied. Every space placed where it best serves the work — and the community — around it.
A Vision, Quantified.
The scale of what we propose. The math behind the ambition.
High-quality direct jobs, plus a regional production workforce.
Reclaimed and reused through closed-loop treatment.
Projected economic impact over the first ten years.
Beneath the solar plaza canopy — public and crew.
Target recycled content in the campus structural frame.
The solar plaza stays open to the community year-round.
More Than a Studio. A Movement.
Steelhorn Forge Studios is the flagship program of the Steelhorn Foundation — a place where creativity meets opportunity, where sustainability drives innovation, and where stories create change.
Sustainable by Design
Built from recycled steel, powered by on-site solar, run on an all-electric fleet, with water reclaimed on a closed loop. A campus that proves great work and responsible work are the same work.
Veterans, Heard
A dedicated storytelling center where service members and military families tell their own stories on their own terms — documentary, narrative, podcast, and oral history, at no cost to participants.
Workforce Pipeline
Apprenticeships and training in partnership with regional technical colleges and trade institutions — building, hiring, and keeping the crew base of the next twenty years, locally.
Community Space
A public solar plaza, an outdoor amphitheater for community screenings, and EV charging open to all. A studio is a private place — a plaza is for everyone.
Creative Opportunity
Writers, editors, podcasters, and filmmakers get a room to work in without needing a credit first — and a residency program built to launch the next generation of storytellers.
A Legacy of Impact
High-quality jobs, economic impact, and a stronger, more sustainable community. We are building a place where stories create change — and the change outlasts the story.
From Concept to Cameras Rolling.
Foundation & Solar Core
Main soundstage, site infrastructure, solar canopies, and core utilities — designed all-electric from day one. Architectural and sustainability studies underway.
The Creator Campus
Post-production, podcast studios, the education center, and collaboration spaces come online — built to LEED standards.
Community Impact
Veterans storytelling center, workforce academy, public solar plaza, and event spaces open to the community.
Expansion & Legacy
Additional stages, an innovation lab, and housing partnerships drive net-positive operation and long-term growth — a legacy of impact.
